Unlike our other friends on their RV trips, the only wild life we saw was the grand kids! Ahaha. Seriously it was an ambitious summer but as they say, “There’s no place like home!”
It was a bit surreal when we arrived back as we had only moved into our new place just shortly before we left for the summer. So it took a bit of thought and a lot of energy to unpack the camper from two months on the road and find/remember where things go!
Our good friend Bob spent his summer holiday at Rancho Brusha and we returned to a beautifully maintained yard, immaculate house and other wonderful welcome home surprises! It felt like we were checking into a beautiful desert oasis hotel!
After unpacking and laundry came the biggest job of all, at least for Christie, and that was cutting and vaccum sealing the cheese we brought back from Wisconsin!
Started last year the Grand Fromage buys such an amazing selection of cheese all in wheels, to share with our friends. This year’s haul includes a Gruyere , Grand Casos, Maytag Blue and a beautiful Swiss.
You can rest assured when you come visit us in AZ there will be plenty of cheese to sample, just bring your own cracker!
Who cut the cheese??? hahahaha
Looks like he cut his thumb as well????
Welcome home!
